The book provides a detailed history of athletics and recreation at Emory from 1836 until 2005. Written by Professor Emeritus Clyde ''Doc'' Partin Sr. Partin has worked as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and historian in Emory's athletic department since 1951. Earlier in the year, he was inducted into the Emory Sports Hall of Fame for his contributions as an administrator.
